WWII as seen by Daniel Novak, Jr.

My son, Scott, thought I should share some of my WWII photographs and adventures with you. As you may know, or maybe not, I served with the 164th Signal Photographic Co. in the CBI Theater of War, mostly in Burma. I was a motion picture photographer, did some stills too. In case you wonder who photographed footage shown on History Channel let me tell you the majority was done by military cameramen of all the different branches of service. Being a member of the Army, I did ground force photography. I was 19 when I went into service, 20 when I arrived in India and was sent to Burma.
